Magnetic Strip Card-Magstripe Density

There are 4 common densities of magnetic stripes:

• Loco (Low Coercivity):
  • 300 Oe (350 Oe)–typically used for short-term or intermittent applications such as access cards, event tickets, or gift cards…Suitable for the environment with lower safety requirement.

• Hico(High Coercivity):
  • 2750 Oe–It has strong anti-degaussing ability. Usually used for long-term use cards, like employee cards，access cards，metro cards，student cards…
  • 4000 Oe–It is the most magnetic, has extremely strong resistance to degaussing.It is typically used in extreme or high interference environments.

Magnetic Strip Card-Track(s) To Be Encoded
