LF/HF/UHF RFID Cards Overview
RFID/NFC cards work at different frequency bands to meet a wide range of application needs:
- LF (Low Frequency) 125 Khz
- HF(High Frequency)or NFC 13.56Mhz
- UHF (Utra High Frequency) 860 Mhz~ 960 Mhz
LF (Low Frequency) 125 Khz
Protocol:ISO11784/ISO11785/ISO14223
Reading Distance:about 1~5cm
Features:
Stable signal with low data reading speed
Can only read one smart card at once
Available for read only or readable&writable due to different chips

HF(High Frequency) 13.56Mhz
Protocol:ISO/IEC 14443 A;ISO/IEC 15693;ISO/IEC 18000-3
Reading Distance:about 2~10cm
Features:
Signal could be influenced by metal, regular data reading speed
ISO 15693 is anti-collision (multiple smart cards could be detected at once, like the cards with ICODE® chips)
Readable and writable
Available for encryption, some support AES-128;
Applications: Event Ticketing,Hospitality,Loyalty,Micro-payment,Multi Application Smart City and Mobility Card,Road Tolling and Parking,Secure Access Management,Secure Public Transport Ticketing,Student ID
Special HF-NFC （Near Field Communication）
Protocol: NFC Forum Type 2/ Type 4/ Type 5
Write your contact information inside the NFC chip with “tag writer” app on your NFC smart phone , tap the card with an NFC phone, and your information will be fully presented on the screen very soon. You can also write URL, text, SMS inside the chip.
NFC widely used for social information sharing, payment and anti-counterfeiting.
UHF (Utra High Frequency) 860 Mhz~ 960 Mhz
Europe: 865-868 MHz;North America: 902-928 MHz

Reading Distance:long reading reach up to 15 meters.
Features:
Signal could be easily influenced by metal, water, wall, human body, etc.;High data reading speed
Anti-collision (multiple UHF cards could be detected at once)
Available for read only or readable&writable due to different chips
